The "Agricultural Engineering in Support of the Kyoto Protocol" study is under preparation

The study will address the potential of the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) application in Asia for biogas, Conservation Agriculture (CA), and emission control of diesel engines used in agriculture and rural transport, and will likely generate follow-up activities. The first draft reports, CDM Potential for the Commercialization of Integrated Biogas Systems, and The Potential of Conservation Agriculture for the Clean Development Mechanism, have been reviewed, and comments are being incorporated in the final draft. Consultants are being identified in India and China to prepare reports on the potential to apply CDM to the improvements of Diesel Engine Technology.
